A 7-Day Cultural & Language Immersion for A1–B1 Italian Learners*

Day 1 – Benvenuti! Arrival & Orientation

• Arrival in Italy and check-in at local guesthouse or small hotel

• Introductory meeting: Italian introductions and goals for the week

• Walking tour: basic greetings, signs, and orientation phrases

• Welcome aperitivo + dinner: Italian mealtime structure, etiquette, and phrases

Day 2 – Coffee, Markets & Italian Essentials

• Morning bar etiquette session: ordering coffee and breakfast like a local

• Visit a daily food market: numbers, questions, greetings in real time

• Lunch at a casual trattoria: supported ordering experience

• Free afternoon for exploring

• Optional evening passeggiata

Day 3 – Kitchen Italian: Food & Culture

• Morning cooking class with local host: learn food vocab, verbs, and commands

• Discuss local traditions and ingredients as you cook

• Shared group lunch + table conversation in guided Italian

Day 4 – Navigating Life in Italian

• Real-world activity: buy a bus/train ticket and ask for a route

• Group dinner with rotating conversation partners + fun expression swap

Day 5 – People & Everyday Conversation

• Visit a local artisan or business (e.g., shoemaker, ceramicist, baker)

• Practice introducing yourself, asking about jobs, and expressing curiosity

• Guided language exchange with locals or language learners (light & supportive)

• Free afternoon: shop and explore

• Optional “Ask a Local” challenge (e.g., ask for a book recommendation or local tip)

Day 6 – Express Yourself: Italian in Action

• Vocabulary warm-up: describing places, feelings, memories

• Light cultural excursion (e.g., historic site, museum, or scenic walk)

  • Language task: describe what you see, how you feel, and what you liked

• Free afternoon for final souvenir shopping or exploring

• Farewell dinner & celebration: short reflections in Italian
